With the 3rd Conference on Modern Biodynamic Viticulture, Cerreto Guidi once again presents itself as a venue for open, non-ideological dialogue between different scientific paradigms and methodological approaches concerning the relationship between Humans and Nature.
The Medici Villa becomes a meeting place for farmers, technicians, university professors and researchers, cultural and communication professionals, and all those who, at every stage of the agricultural chain, face the daily challenge of finding a balance between economic, environmental, and spiritual needs.
Biodynamics, which offers a holistic system alternative in agriculture, is understood as a natural convergence point for the main topics and serves as the guiding framework of the project.
The organization of conferences and seminars, along with the launch of applied research and experimental programs in the field of modern biodynamics, aims to make Cerreto Guidi a national reference center—not only as a forum for discussion, but also as a launchpad for concrete initiatives across the country. The ultimate goal is to restore fertility and care for the soil to the central role they once held in the social and economic fabric of communities, as has always been the case during pivotal moments in human history.
During the Conference, a tasting of the “i vini biodinamici” 2010 took place, featuring wines from the following producers—some of whom were vinifying according to the modern biodynamic method for the first time:
Az. Agr. Moretti Podere Casaccia, Podere Abbadia, Podere Fornace Prima, Poggiosecco, Fattoria Montanine, Carussin, Auriel Società Agricola, Tenuta Biodinamica Mara
