The 8th Conference on Modern Biodynamic Viticulture will take place on Saturday, July 9th, 2016, at the Medici Villa in Cerreto Guidi (Florence), with the support of the Italian Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism – Regional Museum Hub of Tuscany, and under the patronage of the Tuscany Region.
Free and open to the public, the event continues the path begun in 2009 with the First Conference on Modern Biodynamic Viticulture – “Scientific Paradigms in Comparison”, which has found in the Medici Villa of Cerreto Guidi its ideal and symbolic venue.
Over the years, the Conference has distinguished itself nationally as a forum for in-depth, high-level theoretical and technical discussion, thanks to the relevance of the topics addressed and the participation of renowned speakers. Through its development, the project has fostered fruitful international relationships with farms, research institutes, universities, and professionals from various sectors linked to the world of wine.
This special edition of the Conference, organized in collaboration with the Biodistrict of Montalbano, will tackle critical issues related to agriculture, the environment, and health, with a particular focus on Tuscany.
