Dedicated to wineries and professionals in the field who work according to the modern biodynamic method and have participated in previous sessions held in autumn 2008.

• extraction of the horns containing the horn manure (P500);

• preparation of the composted P500;

• preparation and burial of P501

Dedicated to wineries and professionals in the field who wish to approach or deepen their understanding of the practical application of the modern biodynamic method in the vineyard and the cellar.

Program:

PART 1

• 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM

  The scientific foundations and the language of Biodynamic Agriculture.

• 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM

  Applying the principles of Biodynamics to the soil. Working with the elements and the ethers “earth,” “water,” “air,” and “fire.”

• 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM

  Lunch break

PART 2

• 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
  Plant protection in biodynamic vineyards. Research and practical applications. Canopy management.

• 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
  Transforming biodynamic grapes into biodynamic wine: white and red wines. Guided tasting and practical application.
